At HamTalky, we prioritize efficiency and customer satisfaction. All orders are swiftly shipped from our Michigan office via UPS.
Order Cancellation
You can cancel your order at any time before it ships. Unfortunately, cancellations cannot be processed after the order has been shipped.
Refund Policy
We aim to provide high-quality radio equipment and accessories. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we’re here to assist you. Below are key details about our refund and return policy:
Eligibility for Refunds
You may qualify for a full refund if:
- The item is returned in its original condition, with all packaging, accessories, and manuals, within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
- You received a defective or damaged item. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery for assistance.
If your order was inaccurately delivered (wrong product, quantity, etc.), please contact us within 7 days of receipt for resolution.
Non-Refundable Items
Certain items are non-refundable, including:
- Damaged radios returned within the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
- Items returned after 30 days from the date of shipment receipt.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at info@hamtalky.com, providing your order number and a description of the issue.
- Return Authorization: You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with return instructions.
- Ship the Product: Please return the item in its original packaging to the address specified. Note that return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent.
- Inspection: Upon receipt, we will inspect the item to ensure it meets our eligibility criteria.
Refund Processing
After your return is approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable unless the product was defective or there was an error in your order.
Exchanges
If you would prefer to exchange an item instead of requesting a refund, please inform us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will guide you through the exchange process and ensure timely shipment of your replacement product.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective:
- Contact us immediately upon receipt of your order.
- Provide photographs or videos of the damage or defect to expedite processing.
We will either issue a refund or send a replacement based on your preference.
Restocking Fee Policy
At Ham Talky, we take pride in the quality of our products and are committed to your satisfaction. If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, you may do so within 30 days of shipment receipt for a refund or exchange.
Please be aware of the following regarding restocking fees:
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 30% will apply to all returned items to cover the costs associated with inspection, repackaging, and restocking.
Conditions for Return:
- Products must be returned in their original, unused condition along with all original packaging and accessories.
- Items that have been damaged, altered, or show signs of use beyond normal handling are not eligible for a refund.
Exclusions:
- The restocking fee does not apply to defective or damaged items due to shipping, or to incorrect items received.
- Custom or personalized items are not eligible for return under our satisfaction guarantee.
Refund Process:
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund, minus the applicable restocking fee, back to your original payment method.
Timeframe:
All returns must be received by Ham Talky within 30 days of shipment receipt to qualify for our satisfaction guarantee and refund policy.
